Tips and tricks to apply your lip liner without a flaw.I haven’t bothered trying to overdraw my lips to make them look bigger, like Kylie does (or did, before she got fillers) but if you’re into that then I think this is a great pairing. You probably don’t need to buy them both, but I like that I’ve got them. Both Whirl and Velvet Teddy if worn separately are long wearing and fade evenly as well. Since both of these lip products are matte, they’re very long wearing – I like to wear these if I’m going to be eating and drinking. The lips look great but don’t distract from the eyeliner. I also wore it for a job interview (which I got, by the way!) since I wanted to look polished but not flashy. I like this Whirl and Velvet Teddy combination since it’s so neutral it can be worn with other more bold colours – such as here, I’m wearing MAC Fluidline in the shade Waveline which is a navy blue. It is quite a pinky beige, not too ‘concealer lips’ like many lipsticks in that category can be. Velvet Teddy is described by MAC as a ‘deep tone beige’ and it is a matte finish. Velvet Teddy is her go-to lipstick and whenever I saw her wearing it I would say to myself ‘I really should buy that’. For me, the reason I was inspired to buy these is actually due to Youtuber Brittney Lee Saunders.
